For such a short book, The Disappearance Protocol is very thought-provoking. Each chapter flows well from the previous chapter. An interesting look at mind control. Having a changed face adds a unique twist, also. I can see possible sequels coming from this first book.

A interesting short read. The book combine the element of comedy and murder mystery together. Which I think is a good concept. It also reveals the dark side of comedy in a way. Although the comedians try their best to make people laugh, it seems like a cut throat job and it has been reflected in real life comedians, too. I recommend you give this a try.

This book was fascinating. Especially in a reality where AI is becoming more and more pronounced and used. Technology and the advancement of science totally makes me think something like this could definitely happen one day. I loved the story and characters.

I love Thai food and mystery books, so needless to say, this one was perfect for me. I wasn’t expecting to get hooked so fast, but wow—it pulled me in right away. It was both funny and thrilling. A great short listen if you’re looking for something fast-paced and entertaining. Totally made me hungry and suspicious of delivery trucks.

“The Silent Wife’s Secret” is a tense psychological ride full of gaslighting, buried memories, and creeping dread. Claire’s “perfect” life crumbles after her suspicious fall and every chapter had me questioning who to trust. The tension builds beautifully, and the final twist is as sharp as promised. Some of the side characters could have been fleshed out more, but the story thrives on Claire’s perspective. Dipto Prodhan delivers a tense, compulsive thriller that doesn’t let go until the shocking finale. Having said that, the book needs formatting work to give it the professional look readers deserve.

This was a fast read and it scares you just thinking about something like mind control and personality altering can really happen. Tessa went above and beyond trying to expose and stop the infiltration of people’s minds. I wish the book had been a bit more detailed and explained in more detail about what was happening. Interesting read.

A murder mystery at a comic club, what a great concept. I loved the way the main character, Emily, wove her web to catch this killer. She uses her comic wit to draw him out. Armed with her entourage, they force the killer into the limelight. Suspenseful and fun!

The book the night-nurse's secret is a good concept, the twist at the end wasn't what I expected where they were doing human testing on the patients. One thing I wished is that the author took some time to develop a deeper connection with the main character, I just thought it was too fast paced and I wish there was a bit more of a character building moment for me to like the main character more. I enjoyed the concept, but I wish it was slowed down a bit

A gripping plot and intriguing. The book begins with the main character reporting for her night shift position and leaves tidbits of information about her. The reader later learns why she changed jobs (won't reveal the details). It holds the reader's attention until the end. Some characters become integral to the story, often unsung heroes. There was some confusion with one character's name from the beginning; she was a nurse but at the end of the book a Dr so not sure if related by marriage or what. It doesn't take away from the intense storyline.

This was a story of mystery as Claire, the new housekeeper, discovered the locked door to the third floor of an old mansion, that held secrets from the past. As she discreetly opened the door to the third floor bedroom, that she was forbidden to open, she revealed the untold family secret. Very suspenseful.
